Where draft position data comes from

The draft board is built from published average draft position data for standard one-quarterback point-per-reception redraft leagues. It reflects how people have actually been drafting, compiled from a public source that aggregates draft results. It is descriptive data, not our own ranking and not a recommendation.

How often it is refreshed

The board is refreshed manually against the source during the pre-season, when draft positions move most. Each refresh is applied as a reviewed change rather than an automatic overwrite, and the date of the snapshot in use is recorded with the data.

How we verify a refresh

Every refresh is checked against the source before it goes live: changed players are compared one by one, the rest of the board is confirmed unchanged, and the top of the board is spot-checked against the published figures. We would rather ship a slightly older board than an unverified one.

Corrections

If you find an error — a wrong position, a wrong team, a player who should not be there — please tell us. Corrections to the underlying data are made at the source of truth and flow through to the whole site, rather than being patched in one place.

What the simulation does and does not claim

Season results are generated from historical performance patterns with deliberate randomness. They are entertainment. They are not projections, not predictions, and carry no view about what any real player will do in a real season. The same draft can produce very different seasons, by design.

Language and imagery

We use no league or team logos and no player photographs. Simulated injuries use generic language and never describe a real medical condition affecting a real person.
